Shark CarpetXpert Deep Clean Carpet Cleaner with Stain Remover, 2.3L, Blue, EX150UK

I bought this in the Amazon sale but have just used it for first time today. The machine was easy to put together, before I started cleaning I read through the booklet that comes with it, all pretty straight forward had flashing lights twice, first time letting me know dirty water tank needed emptied second because I forgot to tilt the machine back before doing dry mode. I was absolutely delighted to see how this cleaned my carpets, shocked to see how much dirt it collected lol, got more to do and as the machine is so easy to use I'm looking forward to getting the others done. I found it easy to push and pull and the cleaning solution leaves a lovely smell. It's a heavy machine but only if you are lifting it, it isn't heavy to use.

Best bit of kit I’ve ever bought myself. She’s lovingly named Minging Mertyl. Not found a kid, dog, or cat stain she’s not able to attack and remove yet and with 3 feral boys in the house she’s definitely put to the test. The only issue is the machine is quite heavy but between the car and the house we’ve really put her to the test over the past year. No breaks and still working as well as she did the day we got her. It’s a fairly loud machine but definitely worth it for the power behind her. Super easy to take apart and clean meaning no funky smells left inside and comes with enough attachments that you can get any part of the carpet. The hose is long enough to do most of the stairs with her on the ground floor and the tank holds a reasonable amount of water. Actually works better than the rug doctors you rent in Tesco and works out that you’re saving money by year two on rental prices when you use it every three months like we do ( for the big carpet cleans, it’s out every few days for spot cleaning )

I have been looking for a new carpet cleaner for a while, with having pets carpets get grubby. In the past I have had other popular makes both from recommendations from friends, but I wanted to do my research when I bought this time. I have shark vacuum cleaner which I am really pleased with, and also when the battery in my cordless wouldn't hold power their customer service was excellent. So I knew that side of things of needed would be ok. I eventually decided on this product because the price was within budget, I liked the idea of the automatic fluid distribution and that it switches automatically to dry on pull back. It was super easy yo put together - take off the tape, slot in the handle and you're done. The tanks aren't very big but that suits me as it keeps the weight down. I have found putting the tanks on and off a little fiddly getting them in exactly the right place to clip in but I suppose I will get used to them. The machines I have had in the past have been really heavy to push and especially pull slowly but this machine isn't heavy at all, it is also no where near as loud. The cleaning power of it is really good, I like that any hair and debris get trapped in a basket in the waste water tank so it is easy to dispose of the water without sending clumps of hair with it. The waste water tank is really easy to empty - none of those silly tipping it up and down and tilting it, the top clips off, the basket can be emptied (I put a plastic glove on to do it) then it is easy to just tip the dirty water away. The carpet is left reasonably dry, just felt damp to the touch, although I did go over it again with just the dry mode - a couple of hours later they were properly dry. I am really impressed with this, can't really tell the difference from when I had professional cleaners in. I did go over my hall carpet again with just plain water after it was dry to see how dirty the water was a second time and it was much much cleaner. Definitely recommend

Love this carpet cleaner! Super convenient, the stain striker attachments are brilliant. Carpets arr dry fast. The solution is expensive but cleans really well and smells amazing. Comes apart to clean. It's difficult to get hair out ofbthe tank but manageable. Very happy with it overall

This is a great rug/carpet cleaner. It arrived today (9/7/25) after ordering it last night (thank you fir the super speedy delivery Amazon). I had it all set up to use within 10 minutes. The reason I bought it is because I have an aging cat! If it’s not fur ball sick it’s a toilet accident. I wanted something that was intuitive, easy to set up, easy to clean and easy to store when not in use and does the job. It ticks all these boxes. I can understand why you need to vacuum first as it does swallow up the cat/hair fur and anything else. (Note to self - I definitely need a new hoover as it clearly isn’t doing as good a job as I thought having seen what was in the waste container of my new Shark!!) So why the Shark? I read reviews for other products and this cleaner had the best reviews on all those tick box features I was looking for. I also love the fresh smell of the Shark cleaning fluid (provided with the product). Having had professional carpet cleaning in the past the chemical smell it leaves was always unpleasant so I am looking forward to not needing that in future.

This cleaner is amazing. I have had two Vax machines in the past and the Shark out performs them in every way. The ease of use stands out. It's much easier to remove and reinsert the containers. The cleaning tools are handy by being on the machine with only a leaver to press down when it's needed. Pushing the machine was easier because it is lighter than the Vax and not having to worry about when the cleaning fluid is dispensed, because the machine does it automatically is great. And to top everything off when you finish your cleaning your machine is easy to clean through. All the parts come to bits easily and can be reassembled in a minute. The performance of the clean was superior in my opinion and my carpet dried in a day.
